CRICS series began in 1992, taking advantage of the meeting of representatives of 37 countries that formed the Latin American Health Information, which became the Virtual Health Library – VHL Network

CRICS9 has defined the Honor Committee, International Advisory Committee, Scientific Committee, Organizing Committee and the Promotion Committee in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Ninth Regional Congress on Health Sciences Information – CRICS9 will be held at the Pan American Health Organization Headquarters, in Washington, DC – USA, during October 22 – 24, 2012.
